Please bear in mind that normal work hours in Israel are 7 hours ahead of American Eastern Standard Time and one hour ahead of CET (Central European Time). You can, of course, send us orders 24 hours a day by E-Mail and by fax. The normal work week at Flowers and Sympathy is from Sunday to Friday. (Sunday is an ordinary work day in Israel).
If you wish your flowers to be delivered on a Friday, then please bear in mind that we are open until 15:00 (3 o'clock in the afternoon) on Fridays, Israel time. If you are sending the order from the U.S., then in order to reach us before closing time, the order must be sent from the States before 09:00 EST.
By Israeli law, all places of business must be closed on Saturday (the Sabbath). Some places of business open again on Saturday night (after the Sabbath). Flowers and Sympathy will deliver flowers to the center of the country on Saturday night, if requested to do so.
Delivery Prices:
Flower delivery prices to various parts of the country, appear at the bottom of the table on the PRICES page. All delivery prices are at cost. That is, we make no profit on this service. (In some out-of-the-way or remote neighborhoods, we actually lose money on delivery -- but this is all part of the business).
The delivery price is in addition to the price of the flowers you order. This is the reason why the sum you will be charged is a bit higher than the basic price of the flowers. You are charged according to the price of the flowers + delivery.
In any event, you will be charged only AFTER the flowers have been delivered to their destination. We will always notify you immediately after the flowers have been delivered. However, in the past year, we have had several instances where people made mistakes (usually typing errors) in listing their E-Mail addresses. We cannot notify you of delivery if your E-Mail address is not correct. For this reason, we suggest that you also list your fax number, if you have one.
