AN IMPORTANT INTERNET TIP
The following is an important Internet tip when using your browser. It will affect the way you see updated information on the Flowers and Sympatya web site -- or any other site for that matter.
Almost all browsers save (or 'cache') a copy of every web page you visit on your hard disk. If you visit that page again, the browser will save time by calling up the same page from your hard disk instead of downloading it again from the web.
At Flowers and Sympatya, we regularly update the information on our web site. However, suppose that you once visited our web site three weeks ago, and decide to visit it again today. If your computer uses a cached copy from your hard disk of a recently updated page on our site, you will see the old version of the page and you will not see the updated information.
From our point of view, aside from the fact that you run the risk of not getting updated information, you may not be getting updated price and product information. As a matter of policy, we update our prices only once every three or four months in accordance with the flower growing season in Israel. Depending on the season, the prices of certain types of flowers may actually decrease. We believe that stable prices and high quality service will result in customer confidence. It is thus important to us that the web pages you see on your browser are the updated versions.
REFRESH AND RELOAD BUTTONS
Microsoft Explorer has a REFRESH button at the top of the screen. Press this button in order to force the browser to download a new updated copy of the page that you are viewing. Netscape has a similar button named RELOAD.
You do not have to do this if this is the first time that you are visiting our site. However, if you have visited our site before, then you should either REFRESH or RELOAD the table of contents page, the prices page and the order form.
There is an additional use for the Refresh and Reload buttons. If your Internet connection is unusually slow, perhaps because you have connected during peak hours of Internet usage, pressing this button will force the browser to find a different and perhaps faster path to the web page.
